Whoa.
President Obama. That's going to take a little getting used to. It may take awhile before it rolls off the tongue with as much ease as the others. I don't mind though.
I'm terribly excited. I picked up a copy of the NY Times today. Guantanamo is closing. I feel like that's a nice change. I've gotten so used to Bush's form of government - it's basically what I've grown up with. I mean, I was alive for the entire Clinton Presidency and even for half of Bush Sr's only term, but I wasn't aware of what was going on. It felt like Bush was always going to be in power. Maybe I can actually trust my government for a change... well, a little bit anyway. Who knows what the future will hold. I hope to God it doesn't get any worse.
Erica!!! I miss you too!!! I miss you more, perhaps, because I didn't see enough of you last semester to tide me over. I must remedy that. I say I because I tend to get busy and cut myself off from people I care about. I am excited to spend time together over the summer...it will be phenomenal. :)
